Once you complete Lifetrack, we would love to help you find a place to get involved here in the life of Mission Church with our Dream Team.
Opportunities to Serve
Look through all of our opportunities we have available. If you see a team you'd like to serve with, click below to let us know.
Are you great at organizing, typing, communicating? The Administration Team will assist the church office from time to time with important “clerical-style” tasks (ie outreach cards, to mass filings, envelope/printing, etc).
The College/Young Adult Team exists to help reach the college aged students in our church. Young adults need guidance and encouragement, whether it’s hosting a college event, or having them over for dinner. You could be the blessing.
Our Creative Arts Team serves to help find and make digital graphics for sermon series, events, and marketing.
Are you qualified to have your own show on HGTV? Or do you just like to watch it? Either way we want you! The Decoration & Design Team helps us decorate and design for the various things throughout the year!
At Mission Church, we love to reach the community and love on our people. One way we do this, is through special events. As a part of the Events Team, you will help oversee and facilitate different events throughout the year.
Are you Mr. or Ms. Fix it? Are you a lawn expert (lawn expert = willing to mow)? The Facilities & Lawn Care Team helps maintain the buildings/grounds, keeps things running properly, and looking good!
Do you like to smile? Then the First Impressions Team is the job for you! We want bubbly faces from all ages to be the first impression that our members and visitors see when they arrive each Sunday! We have welcome signs for you to hold, but more than the sign, we want your smiling face and friendly personalities to welcome everyone that comes each week.
As a Hospital Visitor, you’ll have the opportunity to go and visit, pray, and love on church members who are having health issues. It is a simple yet benevolent ministry that is a huge blessing to those in need.
LifeGroups are not a program of Mission Church. LifeGroups are the backbone, and we believe they are vital to church health and growth. As a LifeGroup Leader you get the opportunity to help drive church connectivity while also helping others grow spiritually all while growing spiritually yourself! Leaders get to develop, grow, and lead a small group of people closer together and more importantly closer to Jesus.
In Mission Kids we bring a fun high-energy approach to sharing the gospel and discipling the next generation! Come have fun with us as we sing, dance, play, and dig into God’s word in some of the most formable years of their lives.
The Bible tells us to go into all the world proclaiming the Gospel. We want to do everything in our power to assist in doing just that! Being a part of our Missions Team means you get the privilege to assist in all Mission events (WMO, Mission Conferences, etc) and even help head-up mission trips for the Church.
In Mission Students our goal is to equip our students to face the world today. Each week we spend time fellowshipping together, singing, and learning biblical truths to help them face tomorrow. As a Mission Student volunteer you will get the opportunity to lead small groups of teens, work special events, and have loads of fun guiding students closer to Jesus.
Our Worship Team meets weekly to prepare for the upcoming service. Whether singing or playing an instrument is your specialty, we want you to use your gifts! This team leads Mission Church each week in worship to the King.
Our Media Team serves each week by helping with pro-presenter, sound board, cameras, and church online. Whether you are a media expert or not, we would love for you to help serve on our media team!
At Mission Church, we believe in the power of prayer! The Prayer Team is made up of people who feel comfortable praying with and for others. This is done in secret, but can also be publicly.
The Safety Team makes sure that everyone is safe each week. This group follows protocols to ensure that each Sunday goes smoothly from start to finish.
The Ushers get to serve by assisting families in finding a suitable location for their family to sit in the sanctuary, as well as collecting the offering during the service.
The Welcome Center is an extension of the First Impressions Team. This team is knowledgeable of church events and can help answer any questions that a visitor might have. They also collect connection cards and give out first-time guest gifts.
The Women’s Ministry is a group of women that come together to serve the Lord by diving into God’s word and serving the community. Friendships are forged, faith is fueled, and you’ll be glad to serve here!
